Venn Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2019

The Young Inglewood pedigree is readily evident from the first sip of this luscious, savory 2019, which combines 86% Cabernet Sauvignon with splases of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Fermented on ambient yeasts and aged for 20 months in mostly used French Ok barrels, it's an example of "contemporary Napa character reaching back to take its cues from the '70s Napa greats." We couldn't agree more; It's an elegant energetic expression of "benchland" Cabernet brimming with succulent dark fruit, violet-scented floras, and gravelly, dusty earth. What a remarkable find!
