John Kongsgaard has been known to make one of the best and most consistent Chardonnay’s in California. Robert Parker was quoted saying “these are the most interesting, naturally made wines one will find on Planet Earth.” This 2018 just hit the market and has almost disappeared already. Peach and honey rise over the toasty brioche aromas, and the density of mineral flavors extend to the end of the wine’s exalted long finish.
