Ovid Red Wine Pritchard Hill 2017
The name was inspired by the Roman poet Publius Ovidius Naso [Ovid], whose METAMORPHOSES, a poetic retelling of the Greek myths, celebrates themes of transformation and change. This tiny semi-cult winery sits at 1,400 feet elevation and only produces a few hundred cases a year. This Red Wine is remarkable from start to finish, loads of complex red fruit, cassis and sage brush. Needs a little decanting and it’s ready to go.
