2017 Ovid Red Wine Pritchard Hill
This wine's name was inspired by the Roman poet Publius Ovidius Naso [Ovid], whose METAMORPHOSES, a poetic retelling of the Greek myths, celebrates themes of transformation and change. This tiny semi-cult winery sits at 1,400 feet elevation and only produces a few hundred cases a year. The 'Pritchard Hill' is remarkable from start to finish, with loads of complex red fruit, cassis and sage brush. It's ready to go after a little decanting.
