James Suckling awarded the Bettina 97 points, describing it is highlighted by flavors of pencil shavings, leaves, and mushrooms. It's "full-bodied, tight and clean... (and a) racy and balanced Bettina.”
This red blend is made from fruit grown on David Abreu-managed properties on Howell Mountain, Madrona, Thorevilos, and Las Posadas, and is named after one of the proprietors, Bettina Bryant. The estate is not far away on Pritchard Hill. All wines are completely handmade - bottled, labeled, packed, and shipped from the estate to wine drinkers. James Suckling awarded it 97 points, describing it with "Wonderful floral, fresh and bright aromas with excellent nuances of dark fruit, spices, and fresh tobacco..." He said the wine is also highlighted by flavors of pencil shavings, leaves, and mushrooms. It's "full-bodied, tight and clean... (and a) racy and balanced Bettina.”
