2015 Monteverro ‘Terra di Monteverro’ IGT Rosso Tuscany
The little brother of the top cuvee is an expressive and sip ready rosso. Similar to big bro, this is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab. Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot from the estate. Lesser aging in Oak and minimal time in bottle prior to release. It’s loaded with bright red fruit like raspberry, cranberry compote. The boday has a touch of plum, blueberry, and herbaceous tobacco. A terrific bottling and will make pizza night a perfect pairing.

Monteverro Estate lies at the foot of the small Italian medieval town of Capalibio on the southern edge of Tuscany in Maremma. Consulting winemakers Michel Rolland and Jean Hoefliger have brought these wines to the edge of perfection. The wines age gracefully and drink stunningly right now, what’s not to like?
