Dom Perignon Brut Champagne 2012
2012 has just been released, and because of the import market and its issues, the wine is nearly sold out. In 2008 this wine made Wine Spectator’s top 100 list, and this 2012 vintage was given the same score - perhaps a repeat? It has loads of crisp stone fruit, like apples and pears. Its zesty palate is full of bready notes, chopped almonds, and a massively long finish. Generously firm mouthfeel that is controlled and lingers.
